Bio
Lois E. F. Watkins sensed God's calling into the ministry as a young girl and has been involved in Christian service for over thirty years.

Pastor
An honors graduate of Anderson School of Theology (Master of Divinity) and Indiana State University-Evansville (Bachelors in Sociology), Lois has served as a "side-by-side" pastor's wife while her husband was assistant pastor at Forest Hills Wesleyan Church, as a full-time evangelist specializing in children's ministry, as resident director at Indiana Wesleyan University, and as chaplain in a health care center during two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and most recently sixteen years as co-pastor then senior pastor of LaOtto Wesleyan Church in northern Indiana.




Preacher/teacher
The ordained minister is also a well-traveled speaker in camps, conventions, conferences, colleges, seminaries, public schools, and local churches.

Writer
She has written articles and devotionals for denominational publications and is co-author of a book featuring biblical dramas called Characters (Lillenas, 1993).

Life coach
Lois has served on her denomination's task force on women in the ministry, on the Wesleyan Women in Ministry steering committee (including a term as chairperson), plus two terms on the multi-denominational Wesleyan/Holiness Women Clergy organization's steering committee. Lois has also served on her district's Board of Administration and Board of Ministerial Development.

In addition she is certified in the use of Prepare-Enrich (pre-marriage and marriage inventory), certified in the use of Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis, and has received basic, intermediate and advanced (group) Coaching Training through The Wesleyan Church in cooperation with On Purpose Ministry as well as training in the “Church Health Profile” for local church assessment

Wife, Mother, Grandmother
She is married to Jim, a full-time writer and speaker, and is mother to two adult children and four grandchildren.
