Lois E. F. Watkins sensed God's calling into the ministry as a young girl and has been involved in Christian service for over thirty years.

A graduate of Anderson School of Theology (Master of Divinity) and Indiana State University-Evansville (Bachelors in Sociology), Lois has served as a pastor's wife while her husband was assistant pastor at Forest Hills Wesleyan Church, as a full-time evangelist specializing in children's ministry, as resident director at Indiana Wesleyan University, and as chaplain in a health care center during two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and sixteen years as co-pastor then senior pastor of LaOtto Wesleyan Church in northern Indiana. She is currently working with New Hope Hospice.

She is married to Jim, a writer and speaker, and is mother to two adult children and four grandchildren (fifth has a May 2011 due date).
