Hey, Jude! Kept by God

Philip Vierling

You're probably thinking of the Beatles song rather than the small book in the New Testament located right before the book of Revelation. And you can probably recall more words from this legendary Paul McCartney song than any words written by the biblical Jude, the half-brother of Jesus Christ!

It's "sad song." Accepted and respected members of the community were teaching a different gospel than the one Jesus taught. But Jude vividly shows how to "make it better" by speaking the truth with love and mercy with those who are struggling with their doubts. Jude writes with a confidence that God's ability does not impose his will on us, but allows us to wrestle with who he is.

So, if you're a confident follower of Jesus Christ or you're wrestling with your doubts about the Son of God, this book—written by the half-brother of Jesus—is for you. Let him into your heart!

Philip Vierling received his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Covenant College and his M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. With over thirty years in the medical device industry, his experiences include many stories of technology's ability to intervene in the rehabilitation and recovery of a patient. Yet the story of Jude has encouraged him on how interact with those in the business community who question faith, and to wait on God's intervention. Philip and his wife of 35 years live on a hobby farm, raising goats, llamas, and chickens near Hastings, MN.
