Churches today face an epidemic. Many pastors are being terminated from churches for reasons that cause chaos in churches—reasons other than violations of Scripture, doctrine, or church polity. In fact, once a church terminates a pastor, that church tends to have the mentality that they can fire any and every pastor thereafter. This cycle keeps churches in chaos.
What’s the solution? Secular approaches to conflict resolution have little effect. The only viable solution is a biblical approach to church conflict resolution.
Within these pages, Dr. Williamson lays out such an approach. It is his prayer that God bless you and the church where you worship as you help the congregation move from chaos to ministries that glorify God.
Dr. Williamson earned a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree (1999) and a Doctor of Ministry with a
concentration in Theology degree (2003) at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. There, he began to see a
powerful approach to church conflict resolution. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist
Church Leesville in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. He has applied this approach in several churches via
workshops and has witnessed miracle after miracle as the churches put into practice the biblical approach to conflict resolution within this book.
